Shortly after midnight on a recent Tuesday morning, Matrix Security patrol officers were dispatched to attend to an alarm activation at a medical centre in Mangere. Arriving onsite less than 2 minutes later, an officer witnessed a young man climbing out of a broken window. The offender quickly fled along with a group who were nearby.

Information about those seen running from the scene was relayed to nearby Police who were able to quickly intercept the group. The Matrix Security patrol officer identified the individual he witnessed climbing out of the medical centre’s broken window and a man was taken into police custody.

Unfortunately, clinics and pharmacies are common targets for thieves, but hopefully the rapid response by security officers and the police discourages future attempts!
