What's the difference between Green Reflector Service and Green Reflector Plus?
Green Reflector Service includes 24/7 monitoring, daily patrols, key holding, a personalised response plan and unlimited alarm call-outs.
Green Reflector Plus includes everything in Green Reflector Service, plus additional random patrols, external property inspections and our Holiday Hotlist service at no extra cost.
How much does the Green Reflector Service cost?

Can Matrix Security take over my existing alarm, or do I need a new system?
In most cases, yes. We can connect to most existing alarm systems, so there’s usually no need to replace your equipment. If you don’t already have an alarm, we can install a complete home security system as part of our All-in-One Home Security package.
What does the Green Reflector at my gate actually do?
Every Matrix Security patrol customer is assigned a Green Reflector and GPS checkpoint at their property’s entrance. Together, these identify your home as part of our patrol network, helping officers quickly locate your property and verify patrol attendance. The Green Reflector also acts as a visible deterrent, signalling to potential intruders that your home is professionally protected.
What happens when my alarm is activated?
Your alarm signal is received by our Auckland Monitoring Intelligence Centre, where our team follows your personalised response plan. A Matrix Security Patrol Officer is dispatched immediately, with Police or Fire and Emergency contacted if required. Green Reflector Service includes unlimited alarm responses with no additional call-out fees.
Do you hold a key to my home?
Yes. Secure key holding is included, allowing our Patrol Officers to check your property after an alarm, secure your home if needed and provide access for emergency services when required.
Is the Holiday Hotlist included?
Green Reflector Service customers receive discounted access to our Holiday Hotlist while they’re away. Green Reflector Plus includes Holiday Hotlist at no additional cost.
How do I get started?
Book a free security appraisal. We’ll confirm your coverage area, assess your existing alarm, recommend the right level of protection and provide a clear, no-obligation quote.
Once you’re set up, your Green Reflector and GPS are installed, and your home becomes part of the Matrix Security patrol network.
What if I live outside a Green Reflector suburb?
If your home falls outside our Green Reflector coverage area, we can still provide 24/7 alarm monitoring and mobile patrol response through our All-in-One Home Security service. Contact us and we’ll recommend the best solution for your property.
